Bullmark 1975 Diecast Godzilla

Bullmark is a now defunct Japanese toy company that is most famous for the line of vinyl kaiju character toys it produced in the 1960s and 1970s. The company was also known simply as Bull by many people due to their logo of a bull which was stamped on the bottom of the foot of many of the toys they produced during that time. These toys of characters such as Godzilla and Ultraman are some of the most collectable toys produced during this time. Especially of note are the Giant sized versions, the missile firing line, and a few characters which were released for the US market through Hawaii .

In an attempt to compete in a changing toy marketplace, in 1973 Bullmark also branched out into die-cast toys, which were sold under the brand name of Zinclon and Bullpet. Perhaps most famous among these are a small line of die cast metal renditions of characters from the Godzilla films. Bullmark co-founder Saburo Ishizuki explained in the after word to the book Super Robot #1 that the die cast Godzilla toy was "so popular that I could hardly keep up with demand”.
